Peter has significant experience in a wide range of capital markets transactions, primarily advising underwriters and issuers with respect to convertible and exchangeable bonds (including offerings in the international markets as well as private issuance), bank regulatory capital products, domestic and international corporate hybrid transactions, equity offerings, government guaranteed and local authority bond issues and medium term note programmes.

Some of Peter’s notable transactions include advising:

UBS Investment Bank as lead manager on Kenedix, Inc.’s ¥19 billion equity offering, and as dealer manager for Kenedix, Inc.’s exchange offer of 2011 convertible bonds for newly issued 2012 convertible bonds and a cash amount (the first ever exchange offer by a Japanese corporate in the context of liability management which deal was awarded Most innovative deal of FinanceAsia Japan Awards, 2010)
Nomura International PLC on the issuance by Square Enix, a video game development and distribution group of ¥35 billion Zero Coupon Convertible Bonds due 2015, which was five-times oversubscribed within four hours of launch.
